With their most complete game of the season today, Boomslang Basketball Club turned in an outstanding performance in the semi-finals round of the Zero Gravity Chase for the Chain NY Tournament.
In a hard fought, back and forth, nail-biter to the finish contest, the girls held Westchester Swarm to the second fewest amount of points given up this season and set a new team record for points scored in a game. A tweaked inside/outside offensive attack worked wonders as nearly every player contributed to the final score, scoring or assisting on each Boomslang basket. The full court press was in full effect, limiting Swarm to only a few baskets in the second half allowing for a nearly complete comeback effort by Boomslang. One last practice this coming Friday and then the season wraps up with the Zero Gravity Battle for the Big Apple Tournament Sat Apr 9 - Sun Apr 10.
